In January, China exported 25,800 tons of white corundum, up 29.07% year on year; The export volume in February was 20,000 tons, up 261.83% year on year; Exports in March were 26,500 tons, down 13.98% year on year. The export volume in April was 38,852 tons, up 64.94% year on year; The export volume in May was 32,100 tons, up 52.02% year on year. Exports in June were 38,530 tons, up 77.88% year on year. Except for the decrease of export volume in March, the export volume in other months showed an increase trend.
From January to June, China’s white corundum exports 64 countries and regions, but exports more than 10,000 tons of Japan, India, the Netherlands, South Korea, the United States, China’s Taiwan. Among them, the total export of white corundum to Japan was 32,300 tons, up 50.24% year on year. It exported 27,500 tons to India, up 98.19% year on year. 18,400 tons were exported to the Netherlands, up 240.65% year on year. 17,800 tons were exported to South Korea, up 41.48% year on year. It exported 14,000 tons to the United States, up 49.67% year on year. It exported 10,200 tons to Taiwan, up 20.45% year on year.
In June, China’s white corundum export growth is also very obvious, export Holland 785.49% year-on-year growth, export India 150.69% year-on-year growth, export Japan 49.21% year-on-year growth, export Turkey 33.93% year-on-year growth, export Germany 114.78% year-on-year growth.
The increase in white corundum exports is expected as the volume of white corundum exports has increased in all the major export destinations.
China mainly imports white corundum from Japan and the United States. In the first half of this year, China imported 973.63 tons of White corundum from Japan, up 2.94% year on year. 483.35 tons of white corundum were imported from the United States, up 410.61% year on year. In addition, China also imported 239 tons of white corundum from Canada, 195.14 tons from Germany, and 129.91 tons from France.
